The Work Triangle

When planning a kitchen design, try to consider the “work triangle” guidelines.  The work triangle is the relationship and distance between the sink, stove and the refrigerator.  No separation should be less than 4 feet and no more than 9 feet.  All three should total no more than 26 feet.  No work triangle leg should intersect with an island or peninsula or other obstruction by more than 12″ each leg is measured from the center of the sink and appliances.
